Distance Learning Logistics
Students are required to participate in live class instruction on a daily basis. This supports best instructional practices and follows state guidance.
Distance learning will be operating synchronously with students in their current on-site schedules in a virtual classroom setting.
Classes will be instructed live, in a Google Classroom and Google Meeting platform at scheduled times every day (see schedules below).
Live instruction will be recorded and uploaded daily, allowing students to access lessons for additional support or in the case of an absence.
Four classes will be taught each day (live instruction), rotating on a Gold/Green schedule.
An Advisory period will be implemented on Green Schedule days, supporting Social Emotional Learning, literacy and academic momentum.
Students are expected to attend each class, every day. Attendance will be taken in every class, every day. Absences will need to be excused through the main office.
